Privacy Policy
Effective date: November 5, 2026.
This policy describes how the Reportify Chrome extension and its website handle information.
1. About Reportify
Reportify is an independent, unofficial Chrome extension that simplifies reporting players on FACEIT. It helps users select players, prepare report details and submit reports using their existing FACEIT session.
Reportify is not affiliated with or endorsed by FACEIT.
2. Information accessed by the extension
Reportify accesses information required for its reporting features, including:
- Your signed-in FACEIT account identifier.
- Match identifiers, player identifiers, nicknames and team membership.
- Match scores used to determine available rounds.
- Player search queries and account search results.
- Selected report categories, rounds and toxicity types.
- Comments, video links, screenshots and additional FACEIT accounts you choose to include.
- Submission statuses and timestamps.
This information is used to display match participants, prepare and submit reports, preserve drafts and help prevent duplicate reports within the same match.
Reportify uses your existing FACEIT session. It does not ask for your password or separately store your authentication credentials.
3. Local storage
Reportify stores report drafts, selected screenshots and submission records locally in your browser using the extension’s local storage.
This information is not stored in a database operated by the developer or synchronised through Chrome Sync by the extension. Refreshing a page does not delete it.
Submission records include account, match and reported-player identifiers, a status and a timestamp. These records remain valid for 30 days. Expired records are removed during a subsequent cleanup when the reporting feature is used.
Drafts and screenshots do not have a fixed automatic expiry. After a report is confirmed as submitted or already present, the extension attempts to remove the associated draft details and screenshots. Unsent drafts and information remaining after unsuccessful cleanup may stay in local storage.
Uninstalling Reportify removes its local extension storage. This does not delete reports or evidence already sent to FACEIT.
4. Communication with FACEIT
Reportify communicates directly with FACEIT to retrieve account and match information, search for players and submit reports.
When you use the account search feature, your search query is sent to FACEIT to retrieve matching accounts.
When you choose to send reports, the selected report information is submitted to FACEIT. Screenshots included in a report are first uploaded to FACEIT`s designated upload infrastructure, currently hosted on Google Cloud Storage. The uploaded images are then referenced in the report.
Report contents and screenshots do not pass through a server operated by the Reportify developer.
FACEIT determines how submitted reports and evidence are subsequently processed and retained under its own privacy policies.
5. Optional voice dictation
Reportify offers optional English voice dictation through your browser`s speech recognition service.
Dictation starts when you activate the microphone feature and the browser permits microphone access. Depending on the browser and its speech service, audio may be sent to an external provider for transcription.
Reportify does not save audio recordings or send them to a server operated by its developer. The resulting text is added to your editable report draft and is sent to FACEIT if you submit that report.
You can stop dictation and manage microphone permissions through your browser settings.
6. Screenshots and video links
Reportify accesses only the images you select for attachment. It does not automatically capture your screen or scan your files.
Selected images are stored locally while you prepare a report. They are uploaded when you initiate submission of a detailed report containing those images.
Reportify provides an optional shortcut to Streamable. It does not automatically upload video files to Streamable. You can upload a clip separately and paste its link into your report.
Screenshots, comments and linked videos may contain information about you or other people. Include only information relevant to the report.
7. Analytics, advertising and other uses
The extension does not include analytics or advertising tools.
Reportify does not:
- Sell personal information.
- Use report information for advertising or unrelated profiling.
- Collect general browsing history.
- Automatically read private messages or record in-game voice chat.
- Collect payment information.
Information handled by the extension is used only to provide its reporting features.
Reportify`s use and transfer of user data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
8. Website and hosting
The Reportify website provides information about the extension and its features.
The website is hosted on Vercel. When you visit it, the hosting provider may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, and HTTP request data.
This information may be used to deliver the website, maintain its operation and protect the hosting infrastructure.
The extension does not send report drafts, screenshots or submission records to the Reportify website.
For more information, see Vercel`s Privacy Notice
This website uses Google Analytics to measure visits, page views and website interactions. Google Analytics uses cookies and processes information about your browser, device and use of this website. Analytics loads when you visit the website.
This measurement applies to the website only. The Reportify extension does not include Google Analytics, and its report drafts and screenshots are not sent to Google Analytics.

9. External services and links
Reportify uses FACEIT services and may direct you to external websites, including Streamable and the Chrome Web Store.
Those services operate under their own privacy policies. Browser-based speech recognition is also subject to the relevant provider’s privacy practices.
Deleting information from Reportify’s local storage does not delete information already received by an external service.
10. Your choices and privacy requests
You can edit report details before submission, remove attached screenshots, stop dictation or uninstall the extension.
The developer cannot remotely access or delete information stored only in your browser.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to its processing, request data portability and lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
For questions about Reportify, use the developer contact details available on its Chrome Web Store listing. Requests concerning reports already submitted to FACEIT should be directed to FACEIT.
11. Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated if the extension, website or data handling practices change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
12. Contact
Developer contact information is available on the extension’s Chrome Web Store listing.
